We are in uncertain times in Canada. People are on the edge and causing blaming one person or a group is easy temporary satisfaction for some.
If you are looking to blame someone for COVID-19, our Chinese community is easy to target. It is easy to assume that the Chinese are at fault and they are the reason for these uncertain times.
This assumption is simply far from the truth. The Canadian Chinese communities are facing COVID-19 problems. In the same way, Muslims and Sikhs faced discrimination and hate crime during 9/11. This is still on the raise.
