Our meetings with the members of Parliament outline the need for housing affordability and drive home the importance of the belief that every Canadian should be able to buy their own home in which to grow as an individual or family unit.

- The meeting came to order
- Introduction Alexander and Ian and welcomed to REDCanada meeting.
- Barry: Universities working with REDCanada. Our thoughts on working with Canadian Universities were discussed.
- Fundraising Campaign open discussion.
- Tanny and Alex brought up Cryto and use in Housing.
- Biking for Housing, Walk and Jogging for Housing brought up by Tanny.
- Door to Door Awareness and Fundraising
- Plan of Action: Universities and Colleges reach out. Intro letter feedback from team needed.

Meeting Participants: Dave, Aswin, Tanny, Pamela, Emily, Barry. (3) team members were absent.
Subject Matter: The meeting was opened with Barry providing the group with a high-level introduction to REDCanada, explaining the organization’s value and purpose. Aswin followed the introduction with a personal discussion regarding the difficulties in the current housing market – specifically around the down payment process. At a more policy-related level, Tanny continued our discussion, offering an explanation about red tape and new construction approval processes, and then Barry provided an update on MP Brad Vis as well as MPs thoughts on the housing crisis. To close the meeting, Dave initiated a discussion about how housing affects our communities.
Action Items: In order to ensure ample time for all scheduled topics + discussion, meeting platform will be updated from (free) Zoom to GoogleMeet effective next meeting; date, TBD.
